The Cocktail Guy’s Festive Creations at Camm & Hooper
It’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas, especially in the world of event planning. People like to get their parties and events booked way in advance to secure the best venues and ensure the best experience. At Camm & Hooper, we recognise the magic that surrounds the festive season and, although we can’t make it snow on demand, or navigate Santa’s sleigh across the globe, we generously sprinkle sparkle on any event held at the most wonderful time of the year.
Our exclusive award-winning bartender, The Cocktail Guy: Rich Woods, has hand crafted a range of delicious and indulgent festive cocktails exclusively for us this season. Each menu has been carefully curated to be themed to each of our four venues: Tanner Warehouse, OXO2, Victorian Bath House and Banking Hall. We’d love to give you a sneak peak of one cocktail from each menu.
Tanner Warehouse: Retro Christmas
Tanner Warehouse offers old world charm with a contemporary look and feel. As such, ‘Retro Christmas’ is the theme for this menu. Inspired by novelty festivities and childhood memories, Rich Woods has crafted a selection of cocktails that will remind you of festive fun in years gone by, but with that unexpected contemporary twist.
Tanner Warehouse’s cocktail, ‘The Bauble’ is served in its very own glass bauble, this festive and fragrant sipper is a stirred down delight. Discover clementine infused gin and blended vermouths, meeting with cacao husk and maraschino cherry liqueur. A cocktail fit for the Christmas tree.
OXO2: Winterland
OXO2 is transforming into a winter wonderland inspired by frost, frozen and ice. Thankfully, all to be enjoyed from the warmth of the inside of this contemporary space with stunning views of the Thames. This menu will be visual delight with crystal blue colours infused throughout.
OXO2’s ‘Frost Bite’ is a blue, shimmery, spirit forward drink that evokes the cold snap of winter, with the undertones of strawberry and marzipan. A cocktail that will thaw the most frozen hearts.
Victorian Bath House: Mystical Masquerade
Victorian Bath House invites guests to descend beneath the city into a world of opulence and glamour. This Grade II listed building dating back to the 1800s is fittingly taking the theme of Mystical Masquerade. Inspired by deceptive cocktails, this menu has been crafted to intrigue and surprise.
Victorian Bath House’s ‘Pine Lemonade’ is our wintery nod to the classic spritz with notes of fresh pine and floral elderflower – served long and over ice. Pine infused gin mixed with elderflower, citrus and bubbles.
Banking Hall: Roaring Twenties
Banking Hall is an art deco dream. Steeped in heritage, discover this grand Grade II listed venue in the heart of London. To reflect the opulence of this esteemed venue, the menu here takes spiritual inspiration from prohibition era cocktails. All with a festive twist, of course.
Banking Hall’s ‘Three Wise Men’ is gold, creamy and tropical… like a Solero ice cream on Christmas day. This milky Christmas punch sees vanilla, citrus and passion fruit split with almond milk to clarify and vanilla and citrussy myrrh infused vodka blended with sherry. Served long and over ice.
Our headline cocktail: Festive Fizz
Our headline cocktail ‘Festive Fizz’ features on each of our menus. It’s our riff on the classic champagne cocktail with notes of dried fruit, citrus peel and festive goodness. We mix our house-made mice pie liqueur with the best bubbles. It’s a true festive treat.
