Camm & Hooper’s spectacular event venues which include Banking Hall, Grace Hall, Tanner Warehouse Bermondsey, Victorian Bath House, Six Storeys on Soho and Morton Society make for brilliant front-of-camera filming locations. However, they are first and foremost event venues. This means they already have busy calendars, and tend to command relatively high fees which event clients are accustomed to but which film productions often can’t afford.
Camm & Hooper have been working with Location Collective for over 5 years across our entire venue collection. Location Collective are known for their dedication to working with only the most original properties and as a result have generated over £400k in filming revenue for the group.
“Camm & Hooper are great to work with. They are accommodating in opening the doors of their stunning building portfolio to the full spectrum of production types, from editorial stills, to music promos, to high end feature films. They are open to being flexible with rates, and are able to work to tighter timescales providing a production’s desired dates fit around their existing events calendars. They are sympathetic to the requirements of a film production and are always receptive to ideas that might help make their portfolio more film friendly. We feel privileged that Camm & Hooper have entrusted their portfolio to Location Collective and are proud to represent them exclusively for production enquiries”Bethany Cook – Account Manager, Location Collective
Over the course of the last 5 years we have fine tuned our relationship, finding ways for filming to work alongside the event calendar and to generate additional revenue throughout the quieter months. Location Collective have been a key part in balancing this relationship by working hard to understand the need periods of our business and tailoring their approach to each venue to maximise filming revenue without impacting our core business.
Not only have Location Collective booked our spaces for filming productions including Mary Poppins Returns, Michael Buble music video, Lucky Man and Killing Eve to name a few, they have also utilised the spaces for crew/crowd holding for productions such as Mission Impossible and Fast and the Furious.
We are thrilled with the business Location Collective have brought our way in the last 5 years and we are excited to see this partnership grow in the future as they explore the new venue additions to the Camm & Hooper collection.
Location Collective fully understand our priorities as an event driven organisation and work to ensure that we can enjoy maximum benefit from filming whilst working within certain parameters. Their team are passionate about what they do and work hard to ensure they provide everything we need to be comfortable that filming doesn’t compromise our venues. They are a pleasure to work with and I hugely value our working relationship with them.Lianne Bailey-Woodward, Senior Events Sales Manager, Camm & Hooper
